KONE Procurement Organization is supporting all KONE business functions and business lines in ensuring competitive, innovative and suitable supply of products and services for their needs. The new Global Supplier Sustainability team ensures that KONE together with suppliers will meet the tightening regulatory and customer requirements for sustainability. Supplier sustainability team belongs to procurement and works in close cooperation with KONE procurement, environmental and SQM teams.
We are looking for two energetic, results-oriented and collaborative Specialist, Supplier Sustainability to join Supplier sustainability team

The roles will be in China and in Europe. Location in China is Kunshan and Europe preferably in Finland. Other main KONE locations in Europe can be considered
Responsibilities and Key Activities:
- Represent supplier sustainability in selected KONE region
- Collaborate with KONE environmental team and other stakeholders to understand supplier related expectations for sustainability and transfer expectation to actions together with supplier sustainability team
- Conduct workshops, E-learnings and hands on coaching to increase KONE suppliers' awareness in sustainability related regulations and customer expectation
- Manage and execute environmental data collection from suppliers for e.g., legal compliance verification, environmental product declarations, KONE GHG emissions scope 3 report
- Verify suppliers' data according to environmental team instructions and request correction when needed
- Act as a single point of contact for environmental related matters for selected suppliers
- Manage & develop KONE database for suppliers' environmental data
- Provide information to procurement and other KONE stakeholders about suppliers' sustainability performance
- Support supplier related Ethics and compliance initiatives such as workshops, E-learnings, audits and hands on coaching
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Fluent communication and presentation skills in English and ability to work in international environment
- In addition to English, Chinese skills is mandatory for applicants in China
- Ability to learn KONE supplier sustainability requirements quickly
- Ability to educate internal and external stakeholders to new requirements and drive challenging initiatives
- Can-do attitude
- Previous experience form change management, carbon footprint/handprint calculation, environmental life cycle analysis, environmental reporting according to GHG protocol, green building rating schemes and regulation such as REACH & ROHS or human rights audits are an asset
