Little Heroes International Kindergarten is an English speaking early childhood education and care center with pre-primary school teaching. Our concept includes STEAM education, Mandarin Chinese language showers, and learning periods: these form our play- and learning year.
Our preschool follow Little Heroes Preschool -plan which is based on the National Finnish preschool plan and has been approved by the City of Helsinki Education Division. You will be working closely with our Head of Pedagogy in building & strengthening the preschool teaching. You are also capable of working independently and enjoy using your own initiative & creativity to improve the everyday learning environment for our Little Heroes' children.
Our team consists of both early childhood education teachers and carers of both Finnish and international backgrounds. We value diversity, equality and integrative approach to both working and teaching. Our team is tightly knit and we work closely supporting each other.
In addition to the qualities mentioned above you
are qualified pre-primary school teacher. Foreign degrees must be recognised by the Finnish National Agency for Education.
have native level spoken & written English skills. Other languages are considered as an advantage.
are professional and consistent when working, and take pride in creating warm & safe environment for young children.
