ROLE SUMMARY
- A key strategic role supporting planning and execution of critical growth initiatives across the Pfizer Vietnam business
- Working in close partnership with the Country Manager, Vietnam Leadership Team and key stakeholders on critical business drivers in line with Pfizer Purpose Blueprint e.g., GTM transformation, digital and omni-channel marketing, NPLs, etc.
- Managing all strategic and operational activities with our national distribution partner & their local distributor partners.
- Will be responsible for setting the omni-channel strategies for Pfizer Vietnam including working closely with marketing teams, gathering customer experience insights, launching of new digital channels and portals.
- Responsible for the development and coordination of market intelligence activities in Vietnam in conjunction with relevant commercial partners.
- Coordination and development of commercial governance models to support matrix touch points between commercial, platform and enabling functions.
- Manage organizational complexity by understanding priorities, adapting to ever-changing internal/ external environmental factors
- Role has the ability to act independently to drive operational excellence with distributor partners and internal partner lines utilizing sound business judgment and influencing skills
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy, Innovation & Execution
- Evaluate, develop and execute go to market strategies in partnership with national distributor, CSO partnerships and commercial leadership
- Will spearhead the prioritization of NPLs aligning with local, regional and global stakeholders to advocate for Vietnam launch prioritization and readiness
- Set strategic priorities and focus of omni-channel and digital strategies
- Develop and execute innovative business strategies based on robust market intelligence in partnership with commercial leaders to maximize revenue, market share and income growth
- Partner with commercial leadership to drive GTM transformation and innovation to ensure best in class launch performance vs. competitors to accelerate market penetration
Operational and Financial Performance
- Single point of contact for national distributor relationship.
- Monitor CSO performance against strategies and ensure solid KPI’s are in place for CSO FF with commercial leadership
- Establish commercial governance model with platform, BOP, and enabling functions to support commercial leadership initiatives
- Establish robust operating and financial performance governance plan with commercial leadership including monthly business reviews, distributor reviews, annual/quarterly POA’s, etc.
- Monitor and report on all regulatory, logistics, sales planning/forecasting, etc. issues at weekly LT meetings.
- Monitor performance of the business and implement course-correcting actions in agreement with management and above-market teams
- Ensure all team members KPI’s, objectives, performance management are aligned with the targeted outcomes and designed in accordance with Pfizer policies and procedures.
Customer Facing
- Utilize OneView to track and ensure adherence to CFC engagement KPIs on a monthly basis
- Design integrated cross-functional customer facing GTM models, CSO performance to ensure the appropriate execution of customer strategies and tactics
- Establish market intelligence governance and monitoring in conjunction with BAI to ensure key environmental and customer information is available within the organization in compliance with Pfizer policies
People and Leadership
- Lead and coach a high performing PHEX and LXL team to develop colleagues within the country in line with the Pfizer competency models
- Establish a culture of innovation and thoughtful risk-taking in accordance with country leadership and Pfizer principles
- Role Model Pfizer values, Purpose Blueprint and Lightspeed culture elements with visible and inspirational leadership focused on compliance and integrity
- Ensure high standards of compliance to business norms, policies and procedures that instills a proactive compliance risk management culture throughout the team and the Vietnam organization as a whole.

- Build and actively manage a pipeline of succession talent

- Work with above-market PHEX and LXL colleagues to integrate global best practices into Vietnam strategies.
- Work with Country Management to develop One Pfizer approach to governance leveraging internal policies and procedures (Regulatory, Legal, Commercial, Compliance, HR, Finance, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of managing mid to large sized teams while establishing a culture of compliance
- 10 years of working experience in Pharmaceutical and broader healthcare business across multiple books of business
- Customer/Patient focused mindset with a broad understanding of healthcare, government procurement and pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience with retail and tender & contracting operations preferred
- Experience with new product launches and commercial operations; including brand forecasting
- Collaborative approach to matrix relationships to execute strategies with category leaders and national distributor partner
- Strong people manager with a track record of assembling/building high performing teams. Leads through developing relevant competencies in the team while inspiring colleagues to attain business and personal development objectives
- Proven background in developing strategic business cases based on sound analytics, market dynamics and relevant environmental factors.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
