The role can be based in any of the Nordic offices.
The role
Your overall goal is to best impact the Business Unit’s (BUs) general development in terms of turnover and profitability planning. This role covers a range of brands, launched and in our rich pipeline. You work closely together with BUs as well as Finance to suggest tangible forecast assumptions based on captured insights, pro-actively suggest conclusions, and ensure focus on the broader picture for the BU´s specific sales potential and portfolio management.
Additionally, you co-ordinate internal business review activities and early asset assessments together with cross functional teams.
The role reports to Nordic Head of Insight and belongs to the Innovation and Business Excellence (IBEX) department. We cover all TAs for the Nordic Marketing Company and consist today of 7 dedicated team members.
What you will do:
The role will focus on two tumour types in Oncology (Gyn and GU) as well as early assets in our pipeline cross our main therapy areas.
Build forecasting around insights from e.g. product launches, sales development, pricing, customer trends and phase out
Early asset assessments together with cross functional teams (Medical, Market access, Health economy, Commercial and Finance)
Support the business/brand planning with market insights, trends, and gaps making sure our activities address key success factors for our business
Ensure common framework and process for generating relevant competitive intelligence
Provide leadership with pro-active input to high quality treatment/patient journeys
Demonstrate an eye for business in franchise and brand leadership teams
Influences strategic decisions of senior leadership by giving business recommendations
What we need from you:
B.Sc degree or other relevant subject area (e.g. Marketing or Finance).
Proficient in English, both in writing and speaking
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills reviewing complex and extensive market data
Thorough understanding of marketing and business insight and previous experience in pharmaceutical Business intelligence, marketing, and/or sales
Portfolio analysis (in pharmaceutical context desired)
Worked in a Nordic organization is good, but it’s not a must.
Experience from working in oncology and/or specialty care is desired but no requirement
You will be a core partner for the product and portfolio strategy development and therefore need to have and demonstrate understanding of relevant customers, market conditions, competitive landscape, products, and trends.
You must have strong leadership capabilities and be able to plan in different time perspectives, with a long-term business vision in mind and to break it down into shorter time frames for planning purposes.
You collaborate well with all other relevant functions with good understanding of the interdependencies, such as Franchise lead and managers, sales managers, medical, market access, Finance and Commercial Excellence.
