Independent Accountant
Location: Warszawa
Responsibilities

- verifying and posting documents received
- reconciling general ledger accounts and balances with the analytical records
- clearing investment processes and keeping a fixed assets register
- confirming and reconciling balances with counterparties
- closing financial periods according to internal group requirements
- preparation or active participation in the preparation of the financial statements of project companies
- making tax settlements (VAT, CIT, PCC, WHT), including preparation of tax returns
- preparation of documentation relating to Group accounts
- updating registration documents
- conducting CSO and NBP reporting
- cooperation with fiscal inspections
- cooperation with auditing of financial statements
- supporting other employees in the finance and accounting department as required
Requirements
- min. 2 years’ experience in a similar position with full accounting
- higher education (preferably in accounting and finance)
- practical knowledge of Polish tax law and accounting principles
- good knowledge of English, enabling easy communication
- commitment and independence, good organisation of own work
- ability to work under time pressure
- accuracy and thoroughness, analytical skills
- communicativeness and ability to work in a team
Nice to have:
- experience of working with Symfonia software
- knowledge of the energy sector
