About the Role
The Vehicles program is a two-sided marketplace passionate about two primary customers:
Earners (people who drive and/or deliver with Uber’s platform to earn money) without vehicles, and (2) Suppliers that provide vehicles. Vehicle Supplier (VS) team, we continually partner with Suppliers to help them run their fleet business by growing their vehicle inventory, improving match rates with earners, and providing them with technology to more efficiently and effectively manage their business. Earners are able to access a car through affordable, short-term options such as rentals, leases, and fleet driving opportunities.
We’re looking to hire an Operations Manager, Vehicles to help us manage our operations in LATAM! You will work closely with other Central Operations and local teams, product, business development and customer support to scale and optimize the projects within the VS team and have an opportunity to scale the successful initiatives and share operational best practices across regions.
What you'll do
- Develop, optimize and implement partner-specific processes and initiatives
- Lead independent projects, track and supervise weekly performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives. Own responsibility over multiple tasks that require rapid execution
- Work with Supplier partnership to achieve efficiency, increase engagement and optimize their experience funnel
- Build, maintain and communicate reporting to assist partners and the team to increase supply in the region
- Maintain regular communication and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree required
- Data-first problem solver with excellent Excel, SQL and data analysis skills
- Project management (PM) skills and knowledge of basic PM frameworks
- Excellent communication
- Great teammate and excellent Stakeholder management
- 2+ years of experience in strategy / consulting / business intelligence / customer operations or related experience
- Ability to learn quickly and across a diverse and complex ecosystem
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and a demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, with strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
