YOUR GAME
- Primary liaison with freelance translation team; assigning of translations to freelancers and tracking progress
- Implementing translations via our proprietary CMS (articles, game launcher, referral pages, guides, FAQ, etc.)
- Implementing translations of in-game texts into our SVN repository
- Implementing translations into third-party publishing platforms: Steam, App Store, Google Play
- Implementing translations into supported social media platforms (Facebook, etc.)
- Ongoing terminology reviews and language-specific LQA / improvement projects
- General oversight of localization bug reports via QA team, other team members, and community
- Gathering and organizing texts for translation into additional languages, assisting team lead in researching localization projects, and tracking translation progress
YOUR TALENT
- Fluent or near-fluent in English (skills in one or more of our additional supported languages are a plus)
- Flawless attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills at a personal and project level
- Good spoken and written communication skills, willingness to follow up on unanswered threads / emails / topics
- Interested in games and the games industry (MMORPGs in particular are a plus)
- Interest in translation and localization, and respect for the nuances and complexities involved in these processes
- High level of comfort with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Basic HTML knowledge
