BIT is the Information Systems area of MC. A group of people who live for the business and technology breakthroughs, creating fast, cohesive management and decision tools.
We are looking for a SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT to join our TOOLS & MONITORING team at BIT.
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Solutions Architect’s mission is to be part of a team responsible for maintaining, structuring, and implementing the strategy for the evolution of tools to support IT operations, and monitoring our solutions and services to ensure business continuity, avoiding impact on processes.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOUR DAY…
Define, together with the management teams, the roadmap for the evolution of the Tools & Monitoring strategy, with a focus on security, visibility, and business continuity;
Ensure the implementation of best practices for observation tools and clearly establish monitoring standards with all teams in the organization;
Participate in major transformational projects, including the implementation of new technology solutions and/or services;
Participate in the planning and ensure the design and procurement of IT solutions following industry best practices, security policies, service level agreements, internal rules, and procedures to ensure the success of the development, management, and maintenance cycle, thus contributing to the stability and performance of productive environments;
Ensure the continuous evolution of IT systems solutions and architectures through the adoption of significant technology;
Be an example to the team, ensuring full alignment with BIT and MC Sonae values;
Challenge the organization and the team with new opportunities for improvement/evolution.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE ONE…
Graduation in IT area or similar;
Minimum 5 years' experience in complex IT system architectures and management in technologies;
Knowledge of ITSM solutions, observability platforms, experience in monitoring tools and service/alert management platforms;
Experience in Infrastructures, Network, and project management are valued;
Flexibility, Resilience and Persistence;
Knowledge of the retail sector (preferred);
Fluent English language required.
