Summary :
To assist the crewing department with administration of the company's shore staff
Reports to : Crewing Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain crew personal records
- Upkeep crew training records and crew training arrangements
- Assist the crewing department with the administration of the company's sea staff
- Assist in checking crewing-related documentation and invoices
- Coordinate crew changes and logistics
- Report to Crewing Manager and support crewing department with fleet of vessels.
- Arrange for the interview, medical check-up, travel, lodging etc. for seafarers.
- Arrange for and verify seafarers’ licenses, permits, certificates and documentation.
- Prepare and brief seafarers on their employment contracts, company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with seafarer recruitment agencies.
- Support the crewing manager in the preparation and review of monthly crew payroll.
- Ensure and maintain confidentiality.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Meticulous, proactive, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Able to work well both independently and in a team.
- Positive and attention to detail.
- Experience in Sage Easypay Software would be an advantage
