Job Description
PROVIDE 360 DEGREE LEGAL ADVICE ON COMPLEX LEGAL MATTERS
You’ll support contract negotiations and advise within various legal areas, including contract, e-commerce, IT, data protection, copyright law, you’ll also ensure that contract templates are up to date and create new ones as needed.
INNOVATION AND RESEARCH PROJECTS
You’ll create analyses and solutions for specific legal questions and projects, often in civil law as well as media and copyright law. You’ll also work on the creation and implementation of legal processes and guidelines.
DESIGN AND DELIVER TRAININGS
You’ll conduct training on recurring legal topics and train managers to solve minor legal topics independently.
Qualifications
Completed studies of law (Mag. iur./2. Staatsexamen or Master of Business Law) and ideally bar exam.
Perfect German skills and excellent command of written and spoken English.
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably within the media industry or a specialized law firm.
Additional degree in business administration or postgraduate education (master’s degree (LL.M.), MBA) will be an advantage.
Strong basis in media and contract law, sound contract drafting skills.
Business minded, ability to communicate with non-lawyers and experience in management of multiple stakeholders.
Legal risk manager who strikes the balance between legal/compliance risks and business needs.
Agile and fast while being thorough and accurate.
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.181,00 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
