We are seeking an ambitious and reliable person to fill the Driver/Warehouse Person position at our Rotorua Branch.
No experience is required; we will provide on-the-job training!
The delivery vehicle is an automatic light truck and van!
About the role:
The Driver/Warehouse Person works as part of our friendly and dynamic team. This role consists of both warehouse and delivery duties, from picking, packing, dispatching, and delivering products to the hands of the people that need them all in an accurate and efficient manner to meet deadlines.
This role involves manual handling and lifting and moving of very heavy items (cable drums), so physical fitness and strength are required.
Duties include:
- Warehouse duties – inwards and outwards goods, putting stock away, keeping the warehouse tidy
- Deliveries – delivering goods to customers
- Customer service as required
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, 7.30 am - 5.00 pm
- One rostered Saturday roughly every six weeks, 8 am – 12 pm
Skills and experience requirements:
- Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy and the ability to learn and use systems
- A clean driver’s licence (restricted licence at a minimum)
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- A forklift license is preferred (but not essential)
