You will work within our 24/7 Tech Support team, and support our US customers over the phone with software or hardware issues that they might be facing in the store.
The issues that you will work on, span several fields such as Networking issues, Hardware, and Software which means your training and knowledge will vary.
Please note: This is a 24/7 rotational position. Bank holidays and night hours paid extra.
Flexible Rotation Shifts:
- 07:00 - 15:30
- 16:00 - 12:30
- 23:00 - 07:00
Core Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers through calls/e-mails
- Determine the problem by asking questions, picking out important details that will help you understand what the issue is
- Understand the issue and its cause
- Explain the problem to the customer
- Document your case on our internal system, by taking clear and concise case notes
- Troubleshoot Tech support related issues using your skills
- Escalate the case, or transfer it to another department as needed
What you will bring:
- Fluency in English
- Be a team player
- Associates Degree or higher in a Technology-related field
- Previous restaurant and/or restaurant POS experience (nice to have)
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
- Previous Help Desk Experience (Desktop/Application Support, Ticketing System)
- Deep familiarity with the Windows Operating System (XP, 7, 10) and command line interfaces
- Some understanding of Networking concepts (IP Address/Gateway, Router/Modem configuration)
- Flexible Schedule to work some Nights and Weekends
